The week of August 10-14 on The Bold and the Beautiful promises major changes for at least three couples. To begin with, as teased in the sneak-peek video the soap released at the end of Friday’s episode (recapped in full here), R.J. seems determined to mix business with pleasure when it comes to Electra.
Although Ridge and Brooke’s son has yet to design so much as an entire collection of his own, it appears the nepo baby offers his cousin/would-be girlfriend the opportunity to handle Forrester Creations’ next youth line. Judging by Electra’s ecstatic response, she absolutely loves the idea. (And why wouldn’t she? It’s all about her, her, her!)
Headed Down the Aisle
Meanwhile, Deacon has officially been dating Taylor for what, nearly six whole months? And he’s been divorced from Sheila for even less time than that. Nevertheless, he’s already prepared to get down on one knee and propose to his new significant other.
“Are you serious right now?” Taylor asks. Is she suddenly having doubts about both of them jumping so quickly from one relationship into another? Or is she simply stretching out the suspense?
Pregnant Pause
Much to our disappointment, Daphne’s premature menopause has transformed the once-fiery character into the before image from one of those antidepressant commercials. In the coming days, she’ll still be feeling miserable. “It’s so unfair,” she says, “to have this diagnosis.”
However, Carter’s response may offer a glimmer of hope. “It doesn’t mean you can’t carry a child,” he points out. Hmm…
Party Crasher
Finally, as viewers saw in Friday’s episode, Sheila booked herself onto the same flight to Monaco as her son Finn. She’s convinced they’ll have a wonderful time together. Unfortunately for her, Finn already has plans to reunite with Steffy and recreate the romantic reunion they shared after his “resurrection” — and Sheila definitely isn’t included.
“I won’t tell Steffy,” Finn angrily tells his biological mother, “but you need to go home
