In the latest General Hospital preview released by ABC, a seductive plan begins to take shape, a heartbreaking split unfolds, and Curtis and Isaiah prepare to face each other in court. Read on for all the details — including one development that, at least on the surface, doesn’t seem to make much sense.
Judgment Day
At the start of the preview, which you can watch below, the judge calls for order as the courtroom prepares to hear the case of Isaiah vs. Curtis. Isaiah has filed a lawsuit against Curtis, claiming the punch that injured his hand may have ended his career as a surgeon.
No matter how the trial ultimately ends, one thing is certain: future interactions between the two are bound to be uncomfortable, especially when it comes time to exchange custody of baby Dez.
Lucy Targets Michael Through Serena
Next, Lucy tells her daughter Serena to “pick out your most seductive suit” and wear it in an effort to lure Michael. Their objective? To distract him so completely that he willingly gives up control of Deception to its embattled CEO. Easier said than done!
At the same time, however, Michael and Jacinda appear to be heading into turbulent territory. After discovering a baggie of pills, Michael is left wondering what exactly Jacinda has done, while Nina is asking the very same question about Willow. Is Jacinda setting Willow up? Or is Willow framing Jacinda? Or could the entire scene simply be a cleverly misleading tease? Only time will tell.
Breaking Up Is Never Easy
Finally, Sonny is stunned when Jason announces that he’s stepping away from his role as the Mafia’s enforcer. “So that’s it, you’re out?” Sonny asks as Jason, overcome with emotion, fights back tears. Jason insists he’s done.
That revelation raises an obvious question, though. General Hospital has repeatedly established that there’s no walking away from the Mob. Once you’re in, you’re in for life — after all, isn’t that the very reason Sonny himself has never been able to leave? It certainly makes Jason’s decision all the more intriguing.
It also leaves another mystery hanging in the air: What comes next for Jason? He may have started wearing collared shirts again, but he’s still a long way from the clean-cut young man who once dreamed of following in his parents’ footsteps and becoming a doctor.
