At Last, Bold & Beautiful Is Handing ‘Sinn’ a Fresh Storyline — Though Fans Might Not Love What Comes With It

It may seem as though Bold & Beautiful’s Steffy and Finn have been pushed into the background lately, but in reality, they’ve simply been waiting in the wings. The good news is that a “Sinn” summer appears to be on the horizon. The bad news? Their fans may not be entirely pleased with what that means.

While Steffy has had plenty to say regarding Taylor’s connection to Sheila’s Husband™ and has remained active on the professional front, Finn has mostly served as a supportive presence. His appearances have largely consisted of asking questions, backing up his wife, or giving her a reassuring shoulder rub.

Steffy did come extremely close to losing her co-CEO position to Brooke, and she has also dealt with some conflict involving Hope and delays surrounding the Hope For the Future fashion line. Still, she and Finn have not had a storyline centered on them since the Luna saga. Of course, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood stepped away on maternity leave following the birth of her fifth child, Talon, which helps explain why the couple has been less prominent.

Thankfully, that appears ready to change as summer approaches. During a recent exchange on Twitter/X, a Bold & Beautiful fan asked when “Sinn” would finally get a story of their own. Executive producer Casey Kasprzyk responded with a very confident: “Soon!”

Unfortunately, for viewers who love Steffy and Finn, a major new storyline usually means trouble is coming. After all, drama is the engine that drives any soap plot. The conflict could stem from the growing fashion war between the Logans and Forresters, but if both Steffy and Finn are involved, the issue is probably going to be personal.

As everyone knows, Sheila may get knocked down, but she never stays out for long. She could easily be recovering, regrouping, and preparing her next move before returning to create more chaos for her biological son’s family. In fact, we have already speculated about possible turmoil if Sheila’s roommate turns out to be [Spoiler], as expected.

If Sheila is not the source of the drama, romance could be. Steffy might decide she needs to reclaim Liam from Hope as payback for Hope’s departure from Forrester, although we tend to believe that particular ship has finally sailed. Another former flame of Steffy’s has also reappeared. Wyatt does not seem like the type to distract her from Finn, but Darin Brooks has hinted that his character still has unfinished business, so anything remains possible. After all, Wyatt and Steffy were once married.

No matter what lies ahead for “Sinn,” we’re excited that a major new storyline is finally on the way. Hopefully, as they have done before, the couple will manage to withstand whatever challenges are coming and emerge from the experience even stronger than before.
