In the latest preview for upcoming Young & Restless episodes, could Cane and Lily be heading back toward romance and reconciliation? It certainly seems that way! On top of that, viewers may finally learn what happened to the missing Diane!
Lily’s Got a Cane-Do Attitude
Victor put the reformed Matt Clark through a test by instructing him to become Cane’s newest best friend and secretly keep an eye on him. Naturally, Matt wasn’t eager to become someone even more people could hate, but Nick advised him to follow his father’s orders… at least for now.
Meanwhile, Lily asked Cane to take charge of Chancellor for her so she could focus on business at Winters. For Cane, who is desperate to win Lily back, it was the perfect chance to prove himself to his former love. So naturally, he accepted!
In the episodes ahead, Cane tells Lily that he believes they can accomplish great things together, and when she agrees, he asks her to come closer. Is Cane about to kiss her? And will Lily let him? (We’re thinking yes and yes!)
Where Is Diane?
After Victor and Patty destroyed Jack and Diane’s marriage, Mrs. Abbott moved out of the mansion and quickly disappeared. Well, except for a brief appearance in the DMV during the Beyond the Gates crossover. After that, she went right back to being missing!
Coming up, Jack and Traci encounter Patty and demand answers about Diane’s whereabouts. The preview then cuts to a room where Diane appears confused and disoriented. Has she been drugged? Holding onto the doorframe, she calls out, “Hello? Is anybody here?”
