Hayley attempts to call Randy, but he’s unavailable because he’s sitting with Mona at Orphey Gene’s. Randy goes out of his way to make it clear that he isn’t involved with anyone. Mona admits she cares about him but says she still can’t understand exactly why she’s so drawn to him. Elsewhere, Chelsea tells Naomi that the video she filmed with Eva has already surpassed one million views. That leads them to discuss Kat’s latest detective work. Right then, they receive a message from Kat, who is secretly watching Mona and Randy together. As soon as Randy gets up to leave, Kat literally races across the restaurant to question Mona about her “friend.” Mona insists there’s nothing romantic between them, though… who’s really buying that?

Kat later heads to Naomi’s place, only to find Hayley there offering what sounds like a fake apology. Dani also arrives, and together they realize that both Randy and Hayley came from Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Mona goes to the casino and challenges Joey to a card game. The wager? Randy’s soul. Mona walks away with a financial win, but she doesn’t seem to gain much of a guarantee regarding Randy’s future.
Bill and Joey Strike a Deal

Looking for someone to confide in, Bill unexpectedly turns to Joey. Bill opens up about concerns over his health, admitting that what frightens him most is losing control. He explains he isn’t afraid of dying itself, but of leaving important things unfinished. Bill asks Joey to look after his family if anything happens to him. Joey agrees, provided Bill makes the same promise regarding Vanessa should Joey die first.
Anita Spills the Tea

Vanessa accuses Dani of intentionally leaving her glasses behind at Bill’s house, but Dani insists it was nothing more than a “happy accident.” Anita joins them at the club for a massage, and her reaction to hearing that Hayley threw Chelsea and Naomi out of the house is immediate: “Oh no she didn’t!” During lunch, Dani shares her theory that Randy and Hayley are having an affair. Anita responds by revealing that she personally saw Hayley getting cozy with Kyle at the fundraiser. After Anita and Dani leave, Vanessa calls Randy to meet up. During their conversation, viewers learn that Randy was shot years ago and that Doug’s inability to save him was ultimately what inspired Randy to become a doctor. Both admit they feel they let Doug down in the end. Vanessa warns Randy that Bill is not someone she should be playing games with. “Be mindful of where you step and whose house you are in!”
