Naomi heads to her father’s office determined to find out whether he and Hayley signed a prenup. Her plan? Secretly search for it herself. After arriving, she successfully distracts Caroline, only for Tomas to catch her standing behind Bill’s desk. Naomi quickly invents an excuse before making a swift exit. Later, Tomas tells Kat he believes Naomi could become a threat to his career. On the bright side, the pair agree to ease off discussions about marriage and moving in together and instead keep things casual for now.
Naomi fills Jacob in on all the speculation surrounding Hayley and Randy, prompting him to suggest they compare notes. Meanwhile, Chelsea heads to Uptown, hoping Caroline might unknowingly provide some useful information.
Dani Interrupts
Hayley is eager to hop on a private jet and head straight to St. Bart’s, but Bill admits he’s been dealing with health concerns. They settle on a staycation instead, complete with alcohol-free mocktails, crab cakes and a relaxing day at a nearby beach. Their plans are interrupted when Dani approaches. “Hayley’s clinging to something that belongs to me and I want it back,” she says, referring to her glasses. Dani then warns Hayley that she’s free to play whatever games she wants, but reminds her that the Dupree women aren’t going anywhere.
Leslie Bonds With Noah
Eva takes Noah to Uptown to celebrate his first day working at the clinic. Their dinner is interrupted when Leslie arrives, eager to take credit for helping him land the job. Izaiah walks in just in time to overhear Eva complaining about how certain people keep treating her like delicate china. Before Eva and Izaiah leave, they encourage Noah to come with them, but he stays behind to continue talking with Leslie. She encourages him to pursue the music career she believes he was destined for while criticizing Anita and Nicole. As the conversation continues, Leslie and Noah connect over the shared loss of their mothers. Elsewhere, Eva pulls away from Izaiah, feeling self-conscious about her scar, but he reassures her that it represents the miracle that saved her life. The two then share an intimate moment together for the first time since her surgery.
Sorry, Carlton!
Carlton is slow to recognize the obvious signs that Nicole has, at least emotionally, made her choice—and it isn’t him. As if to confirm it, Nicole declines spending time with him, only for Kial to arrive moments later. Her face immediately lights up at the sight of him. Later, as Nicole and Kial leave the hospital together looking especially close, Carlton sees them and is left stunned.
