The Bold and the Beautiful is often anything but subtle when signaling where a storyline is headed. Most twists are telegraphed well in advance. Every now and then, though, the show plants quieter clues. That seems to be happening now—not with Dylan’s apparent transformation into a gold-digger, which has been made abundantly clear—but with increasingly ominous hints that a devastating accident could soon leave one character fighting for their life... or worse.
The Forresters and the Spencers remain firmly divided, and for the moment, Will and Electra’s relationship appears to be completely over. Rather than directing her frustration toward Electra, who ended things with her son over a jewelry line he had no control over, Katie has instead chosen to focus all of her anger on Dylan. Unfortunately, she doesn’t appear to be considering how her actions could ultimately affect Will.
At the moment, Will has no idea about the confrontation between Dylan and Katie at the beach house, but he’s likely to feel the consequences soon enough. If Dylan distances herself following Katie’s attack, then Katie may unknowingly remove the one person who has continued standing by Will ever since Punchgate.
Will is already spiraling emotionally, something reflected by both his appearance and the increasingly chaotic condition of the beach house. Losing Dylan—the one person he can currently lean on, confide in, and even kiss—could push him even deeper into despair. And once he reaches rock bottom, there’s no guarantee the decisions he makes will be good ones.
So why are alarm bells starting to ring? Because the foreshadowing surrounding Will is becoming harder to ignore, and it doesn’t feel encouraging. On The Bold and the Beautiful, repeated dialogue rarely exists without a purpose. Recently, Eric and Katie have both made specific references to Will’s motorcycle, and it’s worth paying close attention if those mentions continue.
Those seemingly minor details suggest the show could be building toward a devastating motorcycle accident. Will end up in the hospital fighting for his life, or could the tragedy prove fatal?
