First came love, and now comes marriage for one *Days of Our Lives* star, who is celebrating a very special milestone. Congratulations are in order for Emily O’Brien (Gwen) and her new husband, Ken Barnett. The couple tied the knot over the weekend, and the glowing bride shared a beautiful wedding photo on her official Instagram account.
“I married my best friend this weekend,” O’Brien wrote before dedicating a heartfelt message to her husband. “Ken, this life is more colorful, more adventurous and so much more beautiful with you in it. You make every dream a reality. Wearing your grandmother’s heirloom wedding dress from 1956 was just the cherry… Cheers to Pickles and Neens.”
Many of O’Brien’s fellow daytime stars filled the comments with congratulations, including her Salem co-star Greg Rikaart (Leo), who wrote, “Spectacular and beautiful. Zero notes. Congrats you two!” Eric Martsolf (Brady) also shared his well wishes, posting, “Many congrats and cheers,” while Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) added, “The most beautiful wedding for the most beautiful couple!” The Peacock soap also shared a separate photo of the newlyweds on social media, wishing them “a lifetime of love and happiness” and writing, “Congratulations to Emily and Ken on tying the knot!”
Earlier this year in March, Barnett celebrated another milestone with the actress by posting a collection of photos and writing, “12 years later and we’re still up to our same shenanigans. joyeux anniversaire, ma chérie [Happy Birthday, my darling].”
