Katie Unloads on ‘Melissa’ Without Holding Back — Meanwhile, Steffy Stands Behind Daphne and Carter

At the beach house, Dylan is baffled by Katie’s accusations. She insists she genuinely cares about her good friend, Will. Katie shoots her a hard look, pointing out that both Will and Electra are heartbroken, and she suspects Dylan has played a major role in it. “Will is more than just a friend to you… isn’t that right, Melissa?”

Katie believes Dylan was hoping for much more than a simple make-out session on the couch. She wants to hear exactly what “Melissa” has to say because she certainly has plenty to say herself. Unfortunately, Dylan can barely get a word in!

Katie continues her relentless tirade while Dylan tries to explain that Electra walked away from Will several times before moving out. She understands why Katie would question her intentions, but she truly cares about her son. All she’s ever wanted is to see him smile. Katie smirks, saying they both know exactly how Dylan tried to make that happen. “Don’t we, Melissa?” New drinking game unlocked—take a shot every time Katie says “Melissa”!

Getting the Full Story

At Logan, Wyatt can immediately tell something is bothering Will. He assumes it has to do with the women in his life. Will vents about Electra leaving him once again. He admits she seems to break up with him every other Tuesday... but he still loves her.

Wyatt hates seeing his brother so miserable and asks whether he’s talked with their parents. Will says his mom is worried—mostly about Dylan. Wyatt looks puzzled. “Who is Dylan?” Will explains she’s the Nancy he met the other day. Wyatt remembers her as sweet and cute. “It’s complicated,” Will says with a shrug, reminding him that Dylan used to live with him. She also happens to be Electra’s best friend. Wyatt figures they’re probably no longer on good terms.

Trying to Stay Strong

At Forrester, Zende and Carter discuss the upcoming business trip to Monaco. Their conversation eventually shifts to Carter’s personal life, and Zende offers words of encouragement. Carter admits he’s deeply worried about his wife. He’s struggling himself but refuses to let Daphne see it because she has enough to deal with already.

Zende reassures Carter that the love they share will help them make it through this difficult time.

Meanwhile, in the main office, Steffy hugs Daphne and offers her support. Daphne fears she’ll never recover emotionally. Steffy encourages her to give herself time. Daphne explains once again that she can’t give Carter the child they’ve dreamed of having. Steffy invites her to join the Monaco trip, but Daphne says she can’t.

Steffy reminds Daphne that she’ll always be there for whatever she needs. She explains that she’s done some research and discovered Daphne’s diagnosis doesn’t mean there’s absolutely no chance. Daphne doesn’t want to cling to false hope because the odds remain incredibly small. Steffy gently points out that surrogacy and adoption are also possible paths. “I just know you’re going to get there.” She believes it’s meant to happen. The two embrace as Daphne continues to look heartbroken.

Later, Carter meets with Steffy regarding a contract. She checks in on him personally and assures him that both he and Daphne have her full support.

The Final Scenes

Still in the main office, Carter thanks Steffy for standing by them. He never imagined they would be facing something like this. Steffy learns they had already painted the nursery and picked out both a crib and a changing table, which had just been delivered the day before. Daphne was completely devastated. “It broke her. It broke me.” Steffy expresses how sorry she is and reminds Carter how fortunate he and Daphne are to have each other. He thanks her, and they share a hug.

Back at Logan, Wyatt asks Will how he truly feels about Dylan. Will admits he cares about her, but he’s still in love with Electra. Wyatt believes it isn’t healthy to keep longing for the Forrester. He tells Will that life has a way of working itself out naturally and encourages him to trust the process.

At the beach house, Katie continues to needle Dylan over her comment about wanting to “put a smile” on Will’s face, making it sound far more suggestive than intended. Dylan argues that Electra left Will, and that Eric and Ridge also forbade her from spending time with him because Forresters and Spencers simply don’t mix. Drink!

Katie keeps taunting Dylan, despite Dylan’s repeated attempts to explain that she respects both Katie and her entire family. She openly admits she has feelings for Will, describing him as a prince. She says she has never met anyone like him and never will again. Katie, heavily implying Dylan is only after money, accuses her of taking advantage of the opportunity in front of her. “I want answers, and you’re going to give them to me. Who are you, Melissa Dylan? And what exactly do you want from my son?!”
