Andre is about to open up to Dani when Chelsea interrupts them and fills them in on her conversation with Caroline. A short time later, Bill — having just spoken with Caroline himself — calls and asks Chelsea to meet him at the club. Once she arrives, she explains why she believes Hayley is cheating on him. Bill dismisses her concerns, insisting he doesn’t need her assistance or anyone else’s.
At Uptown, Randy tells Hayley they must finish the job on Bill before the people worried about him uncover what is happening. He reminds her that becoming distracted nearly got her killed during an earlier con involving a man named Sid. Hayley assures Randy she plans to get Bill to the island, heavily spike his drinks and wait for him to collapse. Afterward, Randy’s contact will arrange a fast cremation without an autopsy. She calls Caroline and demands that she clear Bill’s calendar so they can leave town. When Bill returns home, he is unstable on his feet and suffering from double vision. After hearing that everyone believes she is having an affair with “Sammy,” Hayley asks why she would “cheat on the best thing that ever happened to me with a man who reminds me of the worst!” Pretending to panic, Hayley insists they need to get out of town immediately!
Randy Earns Dani’s Support!
Dani finds Randy at Uptown and tells him that not only is she cheering for him, but half the town is as well. When he reacts with confusion, she admits that his running away with Hayley would make a great many people happy. She then meets with Tatum, who loves her design ideas. Meanwhile, as Chelsea talks with Andre, he receives a message — clearly from the same person who sent the champagne — saying they want to meet!
Leslie Turns to Ted
Leslie sends Ted an SOS, telling him Eva is having a difficult time and needs his help. He explains that he cannot fix Eva’s scar and reminds her that their daughter is a living miracle. He adds that it would be a terrible idea for Eva to undergo another operation so soon. What she needs is emotional support, not more surgery. Leslie calls him a disgrace and attempts to storm away, but Ted stops her. Refusing to listen to what he is saying, Leslie vows to locate a doctor willing to help Eva and suggests she may turn to Carlton.
Carlton Walks Away
Nicole meets Carlton at Orphey Gene’s, and he describes it as an unusual setting for an unusual date. Revealing that he recently spoke with Tyrell about Jessica, Carlton says the conversation helped him see his own situation more clearly. He no longer wants to be one member of Nicole’s harem, so it is time for her to you-know-what or get off the pot. Nicole thanks him for treating her so well but admits she is not ready to give him what he wants. In response, Carlton asks a single question: “Why Kial over me?” She explains that Kial represents a genuine fresh beginning, unlike Carlton, whom she has known for many years. “From where I’m sitting, it doesn’t seem like you just don’t want to be tied down,” he says, “it’s that you don’t want to be tied to me specifically.” He assures her that he will remain her friend.
